- Uploaded Content: Images or screenshots you voluntarily submit for scam detection analysis. These may contain personal or sensitive information.
- Scan History: After your uploaded image has been scanned, the image, the date of the scan, and the safety score assigned to the content are saved to your scan history so you can view your previous scans within the App.
- Usage Data: Information about your device, app usage, and scan activity to ensure proper service functionality and enforce free scan limits.
- Payment Information: If you purchase a subscription, payment details are handled securely through Apple’s App Store payment system (StoreKit). We do not collect or store your full payment information; Apple provides us only with subscription status and limited purchase details necessary to manage your subscription. You can cancel or manage your subscription at any time via your App Store account settings.

We use your data solely for the following purposes:
- To analyze uploaded content for scam detection
- To save scan results, including images, dates, and safety scores, to your scan history within the App
- To verify and manage subscriptions through Apple’s App Store (StoreKit)
- To maintain and improve the security and operation of the App

We process your personal data only when we have a lawful basis to do so, including:
- Performance of a Contract: To provide you with the Scanlify service, such as processing your scans, saving your scan history, and handling subscription payments through Apple’s App Store.
- Legitimate Interests: To improve and maintain the App’s security and functionality, prevent fraud, and analyze usage patterns.
- Consent: When you explicitly agree to certain processing activities, for example, when you provide content for scam detection. You can withdraw consent at any time.
